My laptop is not working and I need to drop it off for repair 



( *I will need a short term device loaned to me OR I have a device at home and will not need to borrow a short term device)

Collection Hours will vary from Tech Team and will be arranged through email and collected from your SQUAD Room. 

(Team Blue, Gold, Green: Onsite students only)

I forgot my laptop or device and need to borrow a device as a one day loan (to be returned by 1:20pm)

Tech Support Team 

Ask your SQUAD teacher to call Rene at extension 1212 or main office at extension 0 to deliver a day to day loan device to your squad room. *This is for emergencies only, students are required to BRING charged devices and chargers daily. 

Between 8:30-9:00am (arrival to school) 

I need a charger replaced


(*Chargers will not be replaced UNLESS you drop off your broken charger)


(*If you have LOST your charger, you are responsible to replace it yourself and incur the cost of replacement as per our tech policy)

This is not a student request. If you have a working laptop/device, and can access learning, you are all set. 


*Any laptop changes/exchanges are made based on priority needs of the course (ex: Robotics and AP Computer Science students MAY be asked to switch laptops based on tech needs and will be a decision made by the teacher in conjunction with school administration) 

Do not request. 

I still do not have ANY technology (DOE issued device or a school laptop)

I have BOTH a DOE issued iPAD and a school laptop and need to return the non-working device to TYWLS Astoria 

(*All devices must eventually be returned to school, or diplomas will not be issued) and under certain circumstances can be considered theft of property.
