Why TYWLS
Dear Madam Principal.
I am a mother whose daughter graduated from TYWLS of Astoria last week, the class of 2026.
I would like to take a moment to extend my sincere appreciation and gratitude to you and your team of teachers for successfully shaping the childhood of mine and many daughters in her grade to be where they are today.
I am grateful to God Almighty, that I came with my application 10 years ago to the open house of TYWLS - Astoria for both my daughters. ( my oldest girl was of the class of 2023 in TYWLS )
As a first generation immigrant, I had so much insecurities and fear, because this entire system was so new for us, but I have no regrets about choosing this school for them. Thank u once again for paving the way for all these young girls to be women leaders one day.
I hope and pray that they will make TYWLS of Astoria proud and give back to the school as women leaders in the community.
